Beyonce Knowles has proven herself to be a true symbol of a black African female symbol. She is one of the top R&B and Hip-hop stars of our generation. She is the voice for all females across the country and she has been a big inspiration to all girls across the globe. Beyonce has gained all types of support in the country, African American, white, latina, etc. females, and she has used that support to movements like #BlackLivesMatter and has been a real activist. She is one of the true females of this country who has a voice and who little girls can look up to about the way she sings and raps in her songs, and her songs speak to the future female leaders of this country.
To sum up some main points about the reading “ Final Chorus: Planet Rock”, by author Kevin Young, it describes how African American musical artists and citizens of this country share being colored. He talks about how African American Hip hop artists put their feelings and emotions into their songs. “Inexorable energy only moves forward like a tape”. This is what a lot of artists do like Beyonce put into her songs and speak out to millions of little girls out there who don’t have a parent or adult in their life, but they have songs like Beyonce that they can listen to, to help them get through life.
