Kevin Plant Rock his essay talks about how mixtapes changed the game in the sense that it allowed music to move around faster and people got to bring it with them different places. It also allowed artists to send out their music a lot quicker to different people and to see if they could end up getting big records with big deal companies. For example Biggie Smalls I did a write up on him for the ofrenda project and he started his music career with a mixtape that he sent to people and those people made those moves for him. This then evolved to things like ipods and listening to music on peoples phones. Music now that it can move around the way it does will never die and will be able to be everywhere with people at all times and that means it will never die. Down below are a few people who started just off mixtapes.
